Him & Her

The moment before.

Him

His words were cut off by a kiss she placed on his cheek. He became red as a tomato, but that wasn't his main concern. He felt his heart melt like butter on the pan his mother used to use to cook. He felt his hands searching for a way to pull her closer into him. He knew that he was no monster, but for some reason he felt like in that moment he wanted to indulge her. He wanted to engulf her body into his. He wanted every single part of her to be entwined into him.

Her

He looked so marvellous. The light from the small window leaked in and it targeted his face. God, it was like a scene out of Hollywood. She never thought moments like these actually existed. The way he stared at her, it made her feel so insecure, so scared that he would be looking at her too intensely and see a flaw, but for some bizarre reason - she stared back. For some bizarre reason, she had the strength to show it all. She could not keep her eyes off of him. His hands, his chest, the way it rises up and down pretty fast, and even his lips, she was in love with the fact that the sides of his beautiful lips twitched a little bit from time to time. She felt herself reaching over to him. Slowly, she placed her finger on the side of his mouth. She could feel the dimples forming under her fingers.

He was so delicate. She knew that that word made him sound so girly and frail… But there was something about him, the way he connected with her made him so precious. She felt like if he ever left her side, if she could never feel the way she felt right now, she would surely die. With these profound thoughts in her little, but powerful brain, she moved her small hands from his lips to his neck. She could hear him inhale sharply and suddenly. Like he too was catching his breath, but not wanting to let this moment go. She pulled him in, without a single doubt in her mind, closer.

Him

Closer. They were closer now. Forehead to forehead, bumping each other. She closed her eyes, and he did the same. Not because he felt awkward and inclined to, like he usually did, but because he wanted to, no, he needed to. He needed to remember everything about this moment, everything about her, and everything about the way he felt. Electric. Alive. The feeling to him was so powerful, it was almost painful. Yet the feeling was so new, so rich and mighty, he needed it to explore it. He felt her body leaning in, closer, closer, closer...
